The Doc Behind The Talk
After completing my General Pediatrics Residency at Baystate Children’s hospital in MA, and my PEM Fellowship at UPMC’s Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, I came to Orlando where I have been fortunate to help children in the ED and also do a lot of teaching for medical students, physician assistant students as well as Pediatric, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine residents. I currently serve as the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Director for the EM residency.
Teaching is one of my favorite things to do, and over the years I have had the honor of receiving several teaching awards.
While Pediatric Emergency Medicine is a big passion and priority of mine, family comes first, and music comes in at a close third place. In addition to playing guitar, bass, piano, ukulele and drums (which I try to put to good use in the podcast’s intros and outros), I love to jam with my wife and kids.
Thanks for listening.
